FFS!!!

A tad annoyed...... I feel like I am being victimised verbally on FB at the moment I've posted a couple of articles that were of interest to me and thought I'd share with the research group on FB the response I got was some what rude I was told and I quote "this information is just not valid". Uh well actually it is pretty fucking valid its a view point shared by millions the view that cancer is in some way related to and affected by our lifestyles and what we put into our bodies by way of nutrition. All I did was share a link to an interesting article about the immune system here's the link https://www.ihealthtube.com/aspx/viewvideo.aspx?v=254789042bfc9b3e it is important is it not that we explore all the avenues available to us in our quest to survive and thrive living with secondary breast cancer!!!! I don't expect everyone to agree with what I post or say but I do at least deserve to be heard and not made to feel like I am sooooooo wrong patronising me like they know everything well if your so fucking clever then why haven't you got a fucking cure yet ass hole!!! this is a shame cause potentially life changing views that others might at the least find interesting and at best want to follow up on wont be available to them as I am pulling myself from the stupid fucking group.

I then progressed to share a couple of links to Kris Carr of Crazy Sexy Cancer and Dr David Servan-Schreiber of Anticancer A New Way of Life both of which have written books on the subject that they themselves suffer with Dr. David died a few years ago of his cancer but he lived and survived for 20 years with stage IV brain cancer. Kris Carr may have a rare slow growing cancer but she has lived and thrived by her juicing protocol for the past 10 years I find it hard to believe that some might think it helpful to find fault with such people I don't care that they might of made millions out of writing there books and pushing there philosophies that's not the fucking point the point is that the lifestyles they promote and still are have proved positive in the fight against dying early from fucking cancer.

I would also like to add in this post that I have known at least 25 women who have died from this vile, random bastard of a disease this is not some sort of game or competition its life or fucking death. Either you get active and research do everything possible to help yourself or you just listen to the Doctors like they are God!!! and do what they tell you to do. Its a case of doing a bit of both really of course looking after yourself is paramount to helping you heal as is throwing everything you got at this mother fucker of a disease. I am not going to engage in a war with people if they don't agree but don't put me down as not having a valid point and telling me to " please don't follow his ideas" WTF!! how dare she tell me what to fucking do, I am still here living breathing and fighting 4 years down the line I have armed myself with every type and kind of research humanely possible and I am fucking winning, the proof is in the fact that I am here screaming and shouting about it the lung mets have disappeared the liver stuff is all but gone bar 2 small mets that are continuing to shrink. Something is clearly working could be the juicing, could be the supplements could be the hemp oil or it could be the bacon sandwich I've just fucking eaten just don't tell me I don't have a valid point. End rant and gosh that feels a lot better

Having said that I also have had enough of people rubbing me up the wrong way so in future I wont post anything interesting and will just keep it all to myself and of course this blog so stay tuned if you want to read anything interesting and alternative.

After the ultra annoying afternoon with this particular FB group I have left and will not be returning anytime soon.

The best news ever.....

Wanted to share my unbelievable amazing news with you all. Saw my onc today he told me that " the lung mets have disappeared" and my lungs are now clear. I sat there in total shock and can't believe how lucky I am, it appears that something is working at getting rid of the bad cells. All the drugs ie: hereceptin/tamoxifen, jucing, hemp oil (early days), the supplements and the weekly spiritual healing are all worth while, obviously we can't say exactly what it was that obliterated them but the important thing to remember is that something did work.

There was only one grey area and thats on my liver there is a mass there but they still cannot define exactly what it is it could be cancer that is stable or it could be fatty tissue, my onc is writing to the radiologist to ascertain what tests we can do to find out exactly what it is that shows up on the scans whatever it is has been static and non moving now for quite a long time and he wasn't overly worried about it although he did say we are going to keep an eye on it with 3 monthly scans.

As for the subcut herceptin I'm to have my first 2 lots in the hospital so thats all booked in and I've decided not to give up on my hospital just yet.

Apologies to you all for not coming on sooner and posting but up until yesterday I was on  a huge downer and needed something positive to give me a boost, this is the best possible outcome I could of wanted. I feel like I can start my life all over again, I feel like I've been given a second chance. I am so utterly grateful to still be here.

Sending you all love and light

Tiny, stable and possibly NED......WOW

WOW WOW WOW wanted to share my fantastic news with you all (I find it really uplifting to read of others good outcomes and hope this gives someone inspiration) The results of my latest ct scan were great! They actually told me that the nodules on my lungs are still unchanged (stable since last June) and tiny and the doc said "we don't actually know if it is cancer it could be scar tissue on your lungs!!!! but because the nodules are so tiny we cant biopsy them", she personally didn't think I had any cancer left on the lungs and the rest of the scan was clear, how amazing is that!!!!!, I'll be honest I was full of the fear and dread before I went into the cubicle thinking OMG feeling all tense and fragile, came out feeling elated and on top of the world so went and had a massive crab sandwich and bought some new 'Bare Minerals' makeup from House of Fraiser (good ole bit of retail therapy to celebrate), its the first bit of good news since all of this breast cancer shit started, it makes all the treatments, surgery and changes I've made feel worth while like cutting out caffeine and sugar, drinking a pint of green organic fresh juice daily, taking supplements and generally looking after myself, life is finally good again miracles CAN and DO happen something I am ever so ever so grateful for.

Sending all who need and read this absent spiritual healing
love and light to all

The worst year of my life is nearly over

Its nearly over 2011 the worst year of my life, so sad really because it started off so promising with a top job interview (didn't get it and not sure about there intentions but that's another story) made lots of plans and started painting again, then like a swift punch in the face I was dx with Breast Cancer and then 2 weeks later found out it had spread onto my lungs wallop!!

Gradually worked through it although have to say it's not been easy, an emotional roller coaster, this has been the fastest year of my life, don't know where the year has gone, mainly spent it in hospital either having chemo or surgery and start 2012 with 3 weeks of daily radiotherapy which is a bit of a bummer but can't be helped, I suppose really that my year should start in February cause I will finally be free of the dreadful treatments only herceptin by IV every 3 weeks and tamoxifen by tablet one a day. Its quite weird how you adjust to a new life I was always a planner and an organizer now I have to live for the moment seize the day, no more planning bloody cancer has taken away my future and I can't plan anything, in some ways its kind of liberating not to have to adhere to a plan/ambition just go with the flow and follow your nose, see what presents itself. I would still rather NOT have cancer but what can I do about it other than try and help myself changing my diet/nutrition and carry on with the conventional treatments as well as the unconventional or complementary treatments.

I pray to god that 2012 will be a happy, healthy year with plenty of cause for celebration.
Love and Light to all

Wake-up call

So today is a better day than yesterday but all days are like one for me all of them I am eternally grateful for. Thats my affirmation for today in fact it should be for everyday forever. Feeling sorry for myself and my lack of boob until I chanced upon a conversation with a young lady who after having her baby last year found out she had breast cancer with secondaries in her liver and bones (they thought her backache was due to her being pregnant) (cancer is a sneaky shit) all at the tender age of 29, (she never smoked, or drank) you always think your lot is the worst but there is always someone worse off than yourself this was my wake up call it made me sit up and listen and stop all the self pity and why me questions, shake yourself down and get on with the business of living.

The only worry with this particular girl is that she hasn't looked into anything to help herself she's just doing what the dr's and oncologist tell her, ok so I listen to them I also inform them of anything else I might be taking so as it does not interfere with the prescribed drugs, I have been researching breast cancer ever since diagnoses and feel this will be a lifelong practice, I've changed so much since getting this bull shit, no more sugar, no more tea and coffee, no more adding estrogen rich processed foods, and no alcohol (I was t-total anyway), never been overweight. Fresh veg/fruit juice daily with plenty of organic wheatgrass, broccoli, carrots, celery, cucumber, apple, pear I drink a pint of it everyday and find it does fill me up apparently upping your intake of veg can make tamoxifen work more effectively.

Had my first Epsom Salt Bath dry brushed first then took a lovely long dip and feel fantastic, honestly to look at me I look the picture of health which is quite ironic really.
